SEVA Youth · Parents & caregivers

They roll their eyes. You still need to talk.

Safety, sex, friendships, screens. You know the conversations you have been putting off. We help you start them without a speech, a scare tactic or the expectation that one talk will settle everything.

Topics for parents

Talking about safety

Tell the truth about risk without making the whole world sound dangerous.

Boundaries at home

Set limits you can hold, respect theirs and keep the door open as they grow.

Relationships and consent

Talk about pressure and respect before someone else defines them for your child.

Screens and online life

Understand where they spend their time online and make rules you can actually explain.

Bullying

Notice when your child is being hurt, or hurting someone else. Know what to do next.

Big emotions

Stay steady when they can't. Help them find their footing without taking over.

For the conversations you can't outsource.

We can run parent sessions alongside youth workshops, so the conversation does not end when students go home. We also work with parent advisory councils, community groups and workplaces on their own.
